Delia Mo L.Ac.
Dr. Delia Mo is a dedicated healthcare professional with a rich and diverse background in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She began her medical journey in Beijing, China, where she worked as a gynecologist and obstetrician at Chao An Hospital for three years after earning her M.D. in Western Medical Science from Capital Medical University. During her time there, she was honored with the prestigious “Outstanding Physician” award for completing 1,000 successful operations with a 100% success rate.
In 1990, Dr. Mo moved to the U.S. and obtained her M.S. in Human Genetics Engineering from the University of the Pacific in California. For the next 13 years, she served as a QC manager and associate director at MedImmune, where she led four quality control testing groups. Notably, her team contributed to the development of FluMist, an innovative intranasal influenza vaccine, which was later approved by the FDA.
In 2008, Dr. Mo joined BD Biosciences as a Senior Scientist and R&D Supervisor. With her expertise spanning Medicine, Immunology, Pathology, Molecular Biology, Genetics Engineering, and Virology, she played a key role in advancing healthcare solutions. Her lifelong mission has been to use her extensive knowledge and skills to improve health and well-being on a global scale.
In 2018, Dr. Mo embraced her deep-rooted passion for TCM by earning her M.S. in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of East-West Medicine. That same year, she became a Licensed Acupuncturist. Today, Dr. Mo integrates her profound knowledge of both Western and Chinese medicine to provide holistic care to her patients, aiming to enhance their health and quality of life.
